20 minute Book Workout

You don’t need a gym to get a good workout. Make a big book do double duty - for your mind and body! Try our Cardio & Strength Workout with a Book!

The gentle exercises in this video will work your cardiovascular system and build muscle using a heavy book! This workout includes a warmup, eight exercises in 20 second rounds done twice, and a cooldown. The workout can be done standing or seated. 

The eight exercises in the workout are:

Lower body:

✳️ Up and Overs - right and left

✳️ Alternating foot taps

✳️ Heel touches

✳️ Wide step forward and back

Upper body:

✳️ Forward press

✳️ Side press

✳️ Overhead press

✳️ Halos - right and left
