6 Minute Cool Down Stretches

Cool down your body with stretches that will lower your heart rate and relax your muscles.

The purpose of a cooldown is to lower your heart rate and relax your muscles after exercise. A cooldown should include static (not moving) stretches to elongate the muscles that you just worked out.

The beauty of this workout is that it has multiple uses. You can use it on a no exercise day to get your muscles moving or a gentle movement break during your busy day.

Here are the moves:

✳️ Arms Up and Down

✳️ Gentle Backstroke

✳️ Open/Close Arms

✳️ Shoulder Rolls

✳️ Gentle Spinal Twist

✳️ Side Leg Stretch

✳️ Hamstring Stretch

✳️ Calf Stretch

✳️ Arms Up and Down

✳️ Peaceful Breathing
