Day 2 Anniversary Challenge: Lower Body

Our Day 2 Anniversary Challenge focuses on strengthening your lower body. It can be done in a chair or standing and is perfect for seniors or beginners. It includes a warmup and cooldown. 

We do 10 repetitions of each of the five exercises, both right and left sides as appropriate. If you can’t do 10, no problem. Do what you can and build up strength slowly. Stay with it!

The five exercises in this workout are:

  • Chair standup or squat (works your legs, glutes, hips and core)

  • Single leg toe taps (strengthens your legs, hips and improves balance)

  • Leg lifts (strengthens front thighs)

  • Knee up and out (strengthens hips)

  • Heel raises (strengthens calves)

👉  On each of the five days this week (Monday-Friday, May 17-21, 2021), we’ll post a new workout video. Within each video, a Secret Word will be displayed.
