Holiday De-Stress Stretches
De-stress during the holidays with our gentle stretching session with dynamic stretches as a warm up before 30 second static stretches. These no twisting stretches are gentle on the spine and can be done in a chair or standing.
The National Academy of Sports Medicine recommends holding a static stretch for about 30 seconds to achieve better flexibility. But it’s important to listen to your body -- if you’re unable to hold a stretch this long, no problem. Stretch for the time that feels comfortable for you and build up gradually.
