Build muscle with two 5 minute band workouts

Strength training builds muscle which enables you to do your daily activities with ease and builds bone density. This combats the loss of muscle and bone that occurs as we age.

Here are TWO 5 minute strength workouts using resistance bands -- one with mini loop bands and the other with the long tube or strappy bands. (We thought we would provide both in case you only have one of the sets!) The workouts can be done without bands if you’re just starting out -- add bands when it feels easy. If you exercise regularly, they’re great energy boosters!

The tube/strappy band workout includes five exercises:

✳️ Squat/chair standup

✳️ Row

✳️ Tricep extension

✳️ Bicep curl

✳️ Twist

The mini band workout also includes five exercises:

✳️ Press outs

✳️ March in place

✳️ Leg lift

✳️ Pulldown

✳️ Bicep Curl
